Seen in Two Places at Once!
Those of you who saw us in the Stone Carnival parade with our Vintage Old School bus may also have seen us an hour or so later at the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust annual Food & Drink Festival at the Wosley Centre near Rugeley.
As in previous years, Old School Wines provided a Wine Bar facility for the festival offering around a dozen different wines from our range for sale either by the bottle or by the glass.
Revellers at the festival could choose from such fine red wines as ‘L’Archange Rouge’ 2003 from Domaine des Anges, Yarra Burn Cabernet Sauvignon 2001 from the Yarra Valley in Australia or Chateau Rousseau de Sipian 2002 from the Medoc, Bordeaux.
Amongst the whites and Rose’s was Chateau Lansac 2007 Provence Rose, Domaine Treloar’s One Block Muscat and the Cotes de Gascogne 2007 from Domaine de Lauroux.
If that wasn’t enough to ‘whet’ your appetite there were 30 real ales and ciders to sample on the stand next door!
A very good day was had by all!!
