New Chilean Wine Tasting this Saturday
Date of tasting: 21/09/2013
Location: Old School House, Tittensor, ST12 9HA
Join us this Saturday as we try four new fantastic Chilean wines. The Amayna Syrah, Barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonay and Pinot Noir. We were hugely impressed when we tried them and are keen to show them off to you. The Syrah is a spicy and full bodied beauty that begs for lamb and other roast red meats. The Barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc has ample tropical fruit flavours with great minerality and vanilla notes from the oak treatment. The Chardonnay shows papaya fruits, is well structured and has a long elegant finish and the Pinot Noir is supple, fruity with touches of spice.
Barrel Fermented Sauvignon Blanc - £18.99
Syrah - £18.99
Chardonnay - £14.99
Pinot Noir - £18.99
The Leyda region is located in a valley that lies between the Coastal Mountain Range and the Pacific Ocean and runs parallel to Chile's Central Valley. With 37 acres under vine, Amayna is a world class winery that strives for varietal perfection with an emphasis on sustainability.
