La Hechicera is Spanish for "the enchantress"... This rum was made in Colombia and is Solera-aged rum aged for between 12 and 21 years in bourbon barrels. Very good indeed.
Nose: Coffee beans and chocolate. Plantains, peppermint leaves and vanilla cream. Chocolate.
Palate: Plum jam and dark chocolate. A little chilli, black pepper, cinnamon and cassia bark.
Finish: Nutmeg and cocoa. Peppercorns and vanilla.
